As you guys know from my recent post, I went to the Very Merry Christmas Party on November 8th at Walt Disney World! I thought it would be fun to share my experience and some photos from the event. If you are planning on going to the party or would like to attend in the future, keep reading for more info!
The Very Merry Christmas party is a special ticketed event held at the Magic Kingdom. The park is completely transformed into a Winter Wonderland. There’s Christmas music, food, decorations and special parades and light shows! The first thing you will notice when you walk up to the gate is the cast members decked out in Christmas attire! I loved the candy cane pattern and the festive aprons.
When you walk into the park, stop to pick up a guide map. Disney has a special map for the event, letting you know where character spots are, festive food areas, and special event merchandise. After I picked up a map, the first thing I did was head over to the Trading Post in Frontierland. The trading post sold all of the event exclusive pins (I’m a pin collector). After I picked up two pins, Matt and I watched snow fall while walking along Main Street. We saw the “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and then hit up a few rides (the lines are super short during the party). We also stopped by a treat station to get our free hot chocolate and cookie! Look for the blow up candy canes for free food stations! The best part about the party is that everyone seems super happy and there’s tons of Christmas spirit 🙂
After attending the party, I would say that it is definitely worth the ticket price and something that everyone should do at least once! If you have any questions about the party, let me know in the comments! Be sure to check out my Disney Haul/ Christmas Gift Guide video to see some of the exclusive merchandise I purchased!
