Blogmas 2015: Healthy Holiday Treats

In my world, sugar and sweets rule. And now that it’s December, now is a time for candy canes, sugar cookies, fudge and chocolate Santas! One of my family’s favorite Christmas traditions is to spend an entire day baking Christmas treats. My mom would bake one tray of sugar cookies for me, my sister and my brother. We would mix up some sugar icing and create designs on different Christmas shaped cookies. There were Santas, Christmas trees, stars, angels and an ‘initial’ cookie for each of us (a C, K, and T). The cookies always looked cute (and I always ended up eating a lot) hah!

If you’re looking for cute and healthy food options for this time of year (so you can celebrate Christmas and still look and feel great for New Years yay!) I’ve got you covered! Whip up one of these treats for your next ugly sweater party, office party or just to have for yourself!
